“Great location, fun seaside community!!!” - April 24, 2013 - Tampa, FL
My husband and I do a one night getaway from Tampa every few months and we wanted to try something different from the Longboat Key area. The Tropic Isle was a great choice!! The service was friendly and helpful and the location was perfect!! The units have been fully renovated with super kitchens and a nice living room area and a patio outside your door. We were on .the ground floor and even had a door to our car parked right outside the bedroom. The units are also completely equipped for much longer stays. The area has great restaurants and shops nearby and a beautiful beach across the street. Really a terrific choice in every way.

“TROPIC ISLE IS AMAZING!"” - April 18, 2013 - Tampa, FL
The Tropic Isle Inn was the recommended hotel for our wedding guests the weekend of our wedding in March. The staff was great months leading up to the wedding. They were friendly and accommodating with me and my guests as they helped find accommodations for all the guests whether it was Tropic Isle or their other properties. The actual stay that weekend was great. The rooms are roomy and comfortable. The help at the desk was great. They also helped coordinate a continental breakfast the morning after our wedding poolside. Overall, they went above and beyond to make sure me and my wedding guests had everything we could ask for.

“Lovely” - April 15, 2013 - Grand Blanc, Michigan
We had a great experience with the staff at Tropic Isle. They were great with helping us choose the right room and with pre-trip questions. When we arrived several hours early and our room wasn't ready they offered to call us as soon as it was. The hotel is small enough that you can get that personal touch. The room was nice and clean. The grounds are beautiful. And it is right across the street from the beach!

“Will be back” - April 5, 2013 - Orlando, FL
I would recommend staying at the Tropic Isle Beach Resort. The efficiency style room, king size bed, was immaculate, nicely decorated and very accommodating with kitchen facilities for a longer stay. The beach was a very short walk from the resort. The reaction from my college teenage daughter when we walked into the room made me know it was a great choice. She loved the cottage feel decor and common area space provided to relax.

“Very Clean and comfortable” - April 1, 2013
We had never been to AMI before and booked this 'cold'. We were very pleased. The room was nicely designed, clean, comfortable and quiet. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Staff was friendly and efficient. A very enjoyable visit. We will certainly come back. If we can't stay here we would have no hesitation in booking at one of the sister properties

“AAA 5-Diamond Wannabe!” - March 17, 2013 - Indianapolis
Having stayed in several AAA 5-Diamond hotels around the country, I'm a bit of a travel snob so I was a little sad that the property isn't right on the beach but we could see it from the second story balcony of the newly remodeled King Bed Suite we rented. In a word the room was FABULOUS! It was every bit an efficiency apartment; comfortable, pretty and very relaxing. Natural sunlight comes in through east and west facing windows which makes it more special then a regular hotel room. The space is complemented with new crown molding and new granite counter tops in the kitchenette and bathroom, and has a very workable layout. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed keeping the room cool with a nice AC unit and two ceiling fans. The space was also immaculate! -Including the inside of the frig and microwave; everything still looks brand new. We traveled with our 6-month old son and had plenty of space to spread out and feel at home. The Tropic Isle staff helped coordinate the rental of a crib, small tub and feeding seat with a local company and they were set up in our suite when we arrived. The staff was also extremely professional and incredibly accommodating. ...There isn't any room service or a fitness center, but there are great places to eat within walking (or a short driving) distance. The Bradenton Beach area isn't as "fancy" or "pristine" as say, nearby Longboat Key. But for a family with a little one, it was the casual feel we needed. -The heated, baby-friendly pool was appreciated too! Finally, if you are looking for a little "fancy" then Longboat Key, St. Armands Circle and Sarasota are very close by and the drive to each destination from Tropic Isle is stunning with water views the entire way. ...Enjoy your trip!

“Winter Warmup” - March 6, 2013 - Lake Ozark, Missouri
This was our first time on Anna Maria Island, what a surprise. The Tropic Isle Beach Resort was everything it said it was and more. We stayed in room No. 2, it was spacious and newly decorated in nice flordia colors. Upon checking in the staff was very friendly and helpful showing us on the complimentary map of places to eat and shop. The heated pool was right outside our door or in 2 minutes you could be sitting in the white sand of the gulf if you prefer. The complex was landscaped wonderfully and parking was close. The trolly stop was just a short walk away and takes you from one end of the island to the other, we hardly drove in the 8 days we stayed there. We will come back next year.

“Cozy little Florida resort” - March 4, 2013 - Harbor Springs, Michigan
The Tropic Isle is a quiet little hotel/condo which has been redecorated in very upscale Florida fashion. Our small one bedroom unit was perfect for me and my husband for our 9 day stay. The pool was just the right temperature with plenty of beach chairs. The location could not have been better unless it was directly on the beach instead of across but then the price would have been much more as well. Just a block from the trolley and within walking distance to plenty of restaurants and bars. The nice BBQ/gazebo was a great place to cook if you didn't want to go out. Bradenton Beach was lively and just a hop across the bridge to Sarasota or Long Boat key. I hopefully will be returning to the Tropic Isle Resort!

“Surprise and delight” - March 4, 2013
We hadn't planned on staying at the TIBR, but I messed up my reservation at the Tortuga resort nearby, owned by the same management. Luckily, it was cold when we arrived so many visitors didn't show for their peak season reservations and the Tortuga inn sent us here.
From the outside it looks like the accommodations could go either way, but the renovations of this "old Florida" hotel are simply wonderful. Tasteful, über clean and comfortable. The walls are still thin (they apparently didn't have them further insulated), but the noise policy minimizes undue disturbances.
The location is iffy only bc to cross the main road to reach the beach, a curve in the road at the closest crossing point is precarious. Walk 50 feet north and you'll be fine, although my traveling companion noted she would not want to cross here with her three children in tow.
I would readily stay here again.

“First experience at Tropic Isle” - February 25, 2013 - Auburn, In
We were pleasantly surprised how clean, comfortable and spacious the luxury studio unit was.
The office personnel were warm, friendly and very helpful.............Even though we have family nearby, we plan on using this as our our retreat/getaway for our r and r time together..
It has the anemities for all and the beach is just across the road......
A great place!!!

“Relaxing weekend” - January 20, 2013 - Tampa, FL
Myself and my two business partners scheduled a "planning weekend" at the Tropical Isle Beach Resort. We stayed in the 2 bedroom/1 bath room near the pool. We were very happy with the resort, friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the rooms. The rooms appear to have been recently remodeled. The rooms were spacious, the kitchen adequately supplied with dishes, pans, etc.. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the gazebo area near the pool where we held our meetings. The resort offers a heated pool with all the amenities you need - towels, chairs/umbrellas for the beach, etc.. We were very happy with our choice of Tropic Isle Beach Resort and would definitely come back for future planning weekends or family vacations.

“Trip to Anna Maria Dec. 21st - 23rd 2012” - January 7, 2013 - Tampa, Florida
We've been to Anna Maria Island many times but this was our first time staying at the Tropic Isle Beach Resort. It was everything we hoped for and more. Very clean and cozy. It was too cool to swim (even though the pool is heated) but looked very inviting. We especially like it also because it is pet friendly so our little dog "Scooter" can join us on vacation! It is also very convenient to all the places we like to frequent when we are there. We will definately be back!

“First visit to the "Isle” - November 15, 2012 - Bath, NY
My wife and I recently attended a wedding and spent a few days at the Tropic Isle Inn. What a treat. The staff were outstanding, the rooms were perfect and the weather spectacular. We will return again to the area and will choose this facility again.

“A piece of Paradise” - November 4, 2012 - Eagleville, Pennsylvania
My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and planned to take a trip to Anna Maria Island. We didn't realize that it was the same week as springbreak and had trouble finding a hotel/ B&B. We called and we'r lucky to speak to a woman who told us about the Tropic Isle which was due to open that very month. We booked without seeing pictures and crossed our fingers that it would be nice. It was beautiful. We had a fabulous view of the beach and our newly renovated room was bright, cozy, comfortable and very clean. The pool was very inviting. The hotel overall was great. We will be going back again next March.

“Another wonderful stay!” - September 25, 2012 - Winter Haven, Florida
My husband and I decided to spend our honeymoon at the Tropic Isle Beach Resort. We had stayed there in May and had such a great time, we booked our honeymoon there. We had a wonderful time there and look forward to returning again soon. It was absolutely delightful and we highly recommend this resort to anyone wanting to get away and enjoy their time in a relaxing and lovely atmosphere!

“more than” - August 26, 2012 - Cotuit,Ma
This was our 2nd visit since the updates. Although we have been staying there for more than 12 yrs I was again very impressed with the recent updates. This time we had 1 of the 2nd floor apartments and it was BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! The huge bed full size refrig and jet tube. This amazing getaway just keeps getting better!!!!!

“Anniversary Get-Away Week-end” - July 23, 2012 - Plant City, Florida
This will be our third stay at the Tropic Isle Inn. It had been a couple of years since our last stay and we were so surprised to see all of the upgrades!! Our room was perfect and so nicely decorated with everything we needed. So close to the beach and great restaurants. We brought our little dog with us this time and found the inn to be very pet friendly. Special thank you to Kathy and Stacey for all of your help. Don't miss out on a great place to stay. You will love it!

“Wonderful resort” - June 23, 2012 -Fairlee, Vermont
We just returned from a three night stay here and we cannot say enough good things about Tropic Isle Inn. The room was beautiful. We were across the street from the beach. The pool was enjoyed a lot. We highly recommend this place and we will return soon.

“Absolutely amazing stay!” - May 30, 2012 -Winter Haven, Florida
Just a few weeks ago, I went back to the Tropic Isle Inn after going there last August. I enjoyed my stay last year, so I thought why not go back again this year? Well to my surprise, they had totally re-done the Inn and it was absolutely gorgeous! The room was super clean with every amenity one could imagine. There was a kitchenette with everything you needed to make yourself feel right at home. The decor was adorable - absolutely welcoming to the beach and once again - so clean! The bathroom was my favorite. It was bright - spacious - and I absolutely loved it! Our stay there was incredible - the staff was super friendly and everything about our stay there was wonderful. We will definitely be going back! Don't hesitate - book your stay at Tropic Isle Inn now!

“Great resort, great location” - May 29, 2012 - Chicago, Illinois
We originally came here in 2011 for my brother's wedding. After my parents revisted the hotel in March 2012, my husband and I decided to book a long weekend. The remodeled rooms were great. Everything was clean and we loved the layout of the new rooms. You could not ask for a better location. You are right across from the beach and you can easily walk to some of the shops/restaurants or it is a quick drive to the grocery store or Sarasota. We are looking forward to coming back again.

“Goodtime by all... ” - May 29, 2012 - West Palm Beach, Florida
We spent 4 days at the tropic island inn last week and extended my stay as we enjoyed so much and did not want to leave. The unit was beautiful, clean and had everything you can think of. The staff was friendly and really cared about the property as it's extremely maintained. I will be back again as it's centrally located to anna Maria's pine avenue and 15 minute drive to Sarasota st armands circle. Tropic Island Inn is a little touch of paradise and we plan on visiting so much more.

“Tropic isle was perfect!” - May 12, 2012 - Atlanta, Georgia
We have stayed at Tropic Isle for the last 10years and this was the best vacation ever!!! The rooms have been beautifully updated. The landscaping is breathtaking. The staff is friendly and helpful, But most importantly it is family friendly and quiet!! We brought our 2 yo granddaughter with us and she loved the pool and the beach. Yet as adults we also loved the pool and the beach and sitting outside enjoying a glass of wine. I am almost reluctant to tell others about Tropic Isle, I would rather keep it our special place, When you stay there you will feel the same way!!
Room Tip: every type of room has been updated and are terrific.

“A very good place to stay” - April 13, 2012 - Des Moines, Iowa
The Tropic Isle Inn was the perfect place for my wife and I to stay on a recent 3 night getaway from the kids. The 1BR room we chose (room #1) was kept very clean, had a nice kitchenette (with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, sink, servingware and plenty of kitchen utensils in the cupboards). The bathroom wasn't huge, but was plenty big enough and clean. The bedroom furniture was white wicker, the bed was clean and comfortable and the window air conditioner and two ceiling fans did a good job of moving the air. There were 2 flat screen televisions - one in the bedroom and one on the wall of the common room. We were right outside the pool, which was also clean and pleasant. They offered free beach chairs, umbrellas and a few toys to take to the beach. The beach is just across the street, although we chose to go to a bigger area about a mile north. Restaurants are in the area and they are nice. There's also a Publix grocery store, Walgreens and CVS within a mile, in addition to a liquor store and a couple of gas stations. A free island shuttle runs up and down the island, although we chose to use our rental car. Parking is right outside the back door of our condo. It was a very good stay!

“Fresh, New and Amazing!” - March 15, 2012 - Bradenton, Florida
My 3 sisters and I had the pleasure of being the very first guests to enjoy room #12 at Tropic Isle Inn. We stayed for 11 wonderful nights, and we all had a perfect vacation! This resort has just re-opened and had a complete renovation, everything was fresh and new. Crisp, clean, and just plain lovely... we could even see the gulf and it's glorious sunsets right from our balcony! Tons of "ahhhh" moments!

We loved the fact that we could take the free trolley up to a nice grocery store and get all the goodies we needed for making meals so we could spend most of our time at the resort, swimming in the warm crystal clean pool, lounging or walking on the beach collecting shells. We seen dolphins almost every morning too! The private beach is directly across the road and very quite.

The staff was very accommodating and genuinely friendly, which was a very welcoming touch. We met the owner, David Teitelbaum, as he made his rounds to over-see that everything was running smoothly and making sure we were all having a great time. He also owns 3 other neighboring resorts, but always took the time to chat with us. He suggested that we try out the new french Le Petit cafe at his other resort, Tortuga. We made the fresh croissants a morning must each day - and had take out crepes for lunch that were exceptional.

We will definitely be back again next year for our annual sister vacation... it doesn't get any better than this!
