We
do not like to mislead guests at the Inn. There is a small two-lane
road between the Inn and our private beach, but as one can see, once
you cross the road the beach is truly gorgeous. With sea oats and
white sugar sand hours can easily drift by swimming or just lounging
on our chase lounge chairs.
The idea of a private beach is most important in terms of privacy.
Because public beach access is designated to only a few specific
areas on the island, only guests of the Inn are allowed to use our
beachfront property, which completely eliminates any over
crowdedness.
The
Gulf of Mexico water is also something unique in itself. Typically
crystal clear and temperate the Gulf is one of the most serene
bodies of water found in the US. If one is not a swimmer the beach
is continuous for 7 miles with fabulous shelling and beach combing.
